REALTOR Abducted and
Brutalized by Man
- 4/6/06
A Keller Williams REALTOR
was contacted by a man at
her office in Brookhaven,
GA. The agent met with
the man at a conference room
at her brokerage, where he
attacked her with a knife
and threatened the safety of
others in her office if he
did not take her to see some
properties. The two
properties he asked to see
turned out to be vacant.
The man forced the agent to
take him to an ATM machine,
where she was only able to
withdraw $1,500 for him.
Bolt writes in her
statement:
“He then hit me in the jaw,
and said I needed to come up
with $5,000 because my life
depended on it. I told him
I'd go to a jewelry store
and buy diamonds for him to
pawn. He said not to try any
funny stuff because my life
depended on it. Hit me
again. Pulled the knife
against my leg. Asked if I
could feel it. Told me I was
a lying ----- ---- because I
coudn't get money out of the
ATM.”
Store video shows Bolt and
the suspect entering
Carnigie Jewelers at The
Forum, at the Norcross
shopping center.
Bolt wrote, “Said he'd use
the gun to blow me to bits.
Told me my life depended on
me keeping my --- lying
mouth shut about this, and
that his people were
watching. If I did anything
stupid, he'd use the knife
to dismember me before
putting a bullet in my
brain.”
Holding her hand tightly,
the suspect forced Bolt to
purchase a $7,500 Rolex in
seven minutes. Employees
called 911 immediately after
the pair left. Botel
was left at an Eckerd's near
her office. where she walked
to her office to get help.
It is believe this same man
went to a Coldwell Banker
office near Buckhead and
tried to get a real estate
agent to go with him.
